About Us

Inglewood Cultural Arts, Inc. (ICA) is a grassroots organization that grew out of two years of the city of Inglewood's Cultural Task Force meetings.  While we have  worked closely with the city of Inglewood since our inception, we are an independent nonprofit 501c3 corporation and received our federal designation in 2000.

The Purpose/Mission of Inglewood Cultural Arts (ICA) is to enhance the quality of life through our diverse programs which include individuals of all ages, ethnicities and economic status. These programs serve to meet the need of:

  • Raising people's awareness of the arts, both as an essential human endeavor and through the artworks both old and new in our community
  • Encourage all people, with a specific focus on youth, to engage in the creation of art which expresses their own emotions, ideas, aesthetics
  • Infuse the arts into all facets of Inglewood society
